Tom Putt is part of the new generation of panoramic landscape photographers. Passionate and wildly enthusiastic about his photography, Tom has spent the last 12 years exploring all parts of Australia to photograph stunning panoramic images.

Tom first fell in love with photography at age 13. He photographed wildlife as an amateur before leaving university to pursue a career in sports photography. Tom’s photographic ability was recognised by Australia’s leading sports photography agency, Sport the library, which he joined in 1998. He covered over 300 events in a three year period with the library, including the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Tom’s passion has always been landscape photography. His earliest photoshoot as a landscape photographer was walking the Overland Track for the first time in 1997. Since then, Tom has travelled extensively across Australia and New Zealand photographing stunning landscapes in panoramic format.

An Associate of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP), Tom has won over 30 Gold and Silver Awards in National and State Finals. In 2005, he was the only Australian to be Highly Commended in the world’s most prestigious wildlife photographic competition, the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
